I spent some time yesterday dyeing using the speckle dye method. I used my favorite colors (again!), Teal and Purple. I tried a different method than I usually use, but still in the crockpot.
I am looking forward to seeing it dried - it is on the drying rack right now!
My oldest son is preparing to head back out to California for Christmas with his friend. I will miss him horribly, but am glad he has someone special. My middle son, L, will be home next week. I am so excited to see him. He is wrapping up school this week, super busy, but then he will get to relax and be fed once he is home. K is also wrapping up school this week, although her finals were cancelled, so it has mostly been Zoom parties.
I am busy dyeing up yarn for the new year, and wrapping presents to wrap up this year. It has been hard to buy stocking stuffers this year, as I am hardly walking by anything in stores. Normally we would be very busy with different church activities and school activities and family gatherings, but this year will be much quieter. I still plan on having the hubby bake lots of cookies though, lots of the same traditions.
