And all the fun that August brings with it. Cooler weather in the morning, school supply sales, and returning to school. This year brought big changes, as my husband retired from teaching last spring. He is very happy not to be back in the classroom this year.
So, as you can see, he is a bit more casual on K's first day of school (a couple of weeks ago!)
The end of August also brings: Pumpkin Season!!
So, I have created a few special things to celebrate fall. First, Pumpkin Spice sock yarn, which I think is better than a Pumpkin Spice latte. It is the perfect Superwash Merino/Nylon blend for special socks. Another Fall celebration is the Fall Mystery Mini Skein Box - these have 3 mini skeins, as well as some other goodies, all in a cute fall themed box. Coming soon are the Halloween and Christmas mystery boxes, again mostly mini skein mystery boxes, but there may be some larger skein boxes as well. The mystery boxes are so much fun because you get to try some fun yarn and get some swag, and it is like a present just for you.
Can you believe Christmas is just four months away? Sorry to tell you but truly it is only four months away as of tomorrow (August 25 if you are reading this later, you have even less time!). So if you are thinking to yourself, "I was going to start Christmas knitting early", and now you realize that you need to start NOW, be sure to check out my Etsy shop.
