Just Catching Up

It has been a very quiet January since we got L off to Ireland. We did take the dogs to Fountain Creek this weekend for a nice walk.

Of course, I have been doing lots of dyeing. I did quite a bit of yellow last week, a paler yellow, but it is still pretty bright, very nice for the gray of winter.

And since I love purples and greens, I really liked this sock yarn.

We are expecting some snow finally this week. I am looking forward to it, I hope we get to have a fire. I want to wear my new wool socks, but I really like them in the cold. It just feels so cozy and special to have such perfect socks on my feet.
