Random Things on a Saturday Morning
Things are moving incredibly slowly. It is hot, I don't really have much to say.
So here are some random things:
It is really hot. It did rain one or two afternoons for a short while, but it is still really hot.
I had lunch with a friend this week. I have missed her. It was weird eating out, half the tables are marked off, and it was still very empty. Apparently, no one wants to eat out.
K went fly-fishing with her grandpa. I miss her. She comes back today! She also went horseback riding and had a great time.
I ordered more Colorado yarn. Many of the big suppliers are having issues with their orders due to Covid. Nice to be able to order yarn from right here in the state and get it a few days later.
My new chickens have gotten larger, they are still somewhat afraid of the OGs (Old Gals), but they will go get treats near them.
As of today, K and L go back to school in August and September. That is the plan today. I have no idea how that will change tomorrow. Must send L lots of masks.
I got a fancy rental car for my use until they total our Honda. I took L out for a drive in it. We went to Rush, Colorado. A small town on the eastern plans of Colorado. We got a delicious burger at the Rush Cafe. If you are ever out that way, I strongly suggest stopping by.
We are still plugging away on the basement/studio. Coming along slowly in the heat, but still coming along.
Hopefully I will have something more exciting to say next time.
Until then...stay cool and Enjoy!
